Workshop Agenda:

    7:30-8 a.m.Registration open

    8-8:10 a.m.Welcome

      Jenny Keesey, Training Manager, NWPPA

    8:10 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Word Styles Learning Lab

Sure, you can create nice documents without using styles. You can also hammer a nail with a rock or use a knife as a screwdriver. But chances are that if you do, you’ll end up with an inferior document, a bent nail, or a damaged knife; and you will have worked way too hard. Styles are at the heart of any well-constructed Word document. In this highly interactive and informative session, you’ll learn three important advantages: 1) consistent formatting – you’ll be able to apply constant formatting throughout a document; 2) ease of modifying – with just a couple of clicks you’ll be able to change the entire look of your document; and 3) document structure – reorganize your document with a couple of clicks, without cutting and pasting. In addition, you’ll be able to insert a table of contents in a matter of seconds and update it in even less time.

Neal Otto, President, Jump-start Computer Training, Inc.
