Any users of Microsoft Office products who would like to enhance their skills, learn expert tips, and receive advice to improve performance with their daily duties.

Series Overview:

Get acquainted with, or brush up on, skills in, many applications of Microsoft Office and Office 365. Intimate class sizes will contribute to the ability to work with an expert who can provide you with tips and tricks applicable to your daily job functions. Webinars can be taken individually or as an entire series. By registering for the full series, you will receive all 14 webinars at a discounted price.

A quick-reference guide, highlighting the content, tips, and tricks, will be provided with each course.

Note: These courses are taught from a Windows perspective. Apple users are welcome to join, but not all features are available for MacOS or function the same way that will be shown in class.


M365 - The Mysterious Apps, January 21, 2021

Excel - Get and Transform, May 25-26, 2021

This two-part course is for experienced Excel users who spend too much time manipulating data into the right format before they even begin to analyze it month after month or week after week or day after day. Get and Transform (aka Power Query) can perform repetitive data cleansing such as deleting rows and columns, merging data from various data sources, and fixing layout issues without macros or VBA. Data source examples used in this class include Excel, CSV, and text, but the concepts taught can be applied to many different sources. Once Get and Transform is set up, simply click the Refresh button. You’ll save hours!

Please see individual webinar schedules as they are held either between 10 a.m.- noon or 1-3 p.m. PST. Some courses span multiple days. Attendees will be admitted 15 minutes before each webinar begins.

How to Participate:

Instructions will be emailed to attendees within 12 hours of the webinar and we recommend that you test the link to the meeting as soon as you get the instructions. The webinar is best viewed using Chrome as your browser. We recommend that you use a landline for both your phone and your internet connections.

This registration is for one person to attend. We manage our webinars on an honor-system basis; if more than one person from a utility wishes to attend, each is to register separately.

Multiple Webinar Pricing Option: If you are interested in registering for multiple sessions, but not all 14, we are offering a 10% discount to anyone who signs up for four or more webinars. To register for four or more, please complete this registration form. (Online registration for the full 14-part series is available, and a registration form does not need to be completed for this option.)

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations are accepted, with full refund, if request is made at least 30 days prior to the course. Within 30 days, fees are as follows: 15-29 days, $100; 1-14 days or no show, 100% of registration fee. When possible, please send a substitute instead of canceling; NWPPA does not charge a fee for substitutions.
