Who Should Attend:

Members of the NWPPA Labor and Employee Relations Group, which includes general managers, operations managers, and labor relations and human resources professionals. Non-members may attend if they are part of a utility and are members of NWPPA.

Meeting Overview:

The annual meeting will bring together labor relations leaders to share their experiences, recommendations, and lessons learned about key labor relations and human resource issues. This year’s meeting will be held in Portland, Ore., where you will build your relationships with others in your field, and have fun at the evening networking reception and optional dinner outing. Meeting Schedule:

Registration will begin at 8 a.m. on day one; the meeting will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on days one and two, and from 8:30 a.m. to noon on day three. A networking reception will take place from 5 to 6 p.m. on day one; a buffet breakfast will be provided each morning at 7:30 a.m.; lunch will be provided on days one and two; and morning and afternoon breaks will be provided on all three days.

Room rate: $184/night

Please book your room as soon as possible, but no later than September 7, 2019, to secure this rate. Mention that you are coming in with the NWPPA group when booking your reservation.

LERG Member Early Bird (extended through 10/09/2019): $630
LERG Member Standard: $705

LERG Non-member Early Bird (extended through 10/09/2019): $1,890
LERG Non-member Standard: $1,965

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations are accepted, with full refund, if request is made at least 30 days prior to the course. Within 30 days, fees are as follows: 15-29 days, $100; 1-14 days or "no show," 100 percent of registration fee. When possible, please send a substitute instead of canceling. NWPPA does not charge a fee for substitutions.

Continuing Hours:

This meeting qualifies for 15 continuing hours. Certificates are issued upon full completion of the meeting.


NWPPA is recognized by SHRM to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for the SHRM-CPSM or SHRM-SCPSM. This program is valid for 16 PDCs for the SHRM-CPSM or SHRM-SCPSM. For more information about certification or recertification, please visit www.shrmcertification.org.
