Webinar Overview:

During this three-day session, participants will work in a hands-on virtual environment that simulates a real-world network to learn the following:

  • Wireless HID device attacks
  • Reverse command shells
  • Hash relay attacks
  • Process injection
  • MFP printer attacks
  • FreeNAS privilege escalation
  • Configuration vulnerabilities
  • Hash cracking
  • Linux privilege escalation
  • Attacking WordPress
  • Cross-site scripting
  • Windows privilege escalation
  • Session cookie manipulation
  • Maintaining persistence

Attendees will have a dedicated virtual lab consisting of:

  • Windows active directory
  • Windows server 2019 member services
  • Windows 10 workstations
  • Kali Linux
  • Ubuntu Linux servers
  • FreeNAS server
  • Firebird database
  • MS SQL server 2017 database
  • MS Exchange 2016 with Outlook Web Access
  • pfSense firewall to simulate attacks from the internet

Tools used by participants:

  • Metasploit framework
  • Bloodhound
  • Microsoft PSTools
  • Hashcat
  • Burp Suite
  • DBG custom tools

Webinar Schedule:

Each webinar will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pacific Time. Attendees will be admitted 15 minutes before each webinar begins. The course is only available live; no recording will be made available.

How to Participate:

Instructions will be emailed to attendees 12 hours before the webinar and we recommend that you test the link to the meeting as soon as you get the instructions. Webinars are best viewed using Chrome as your browser. We recommend that you use a landline for both your phone and your internet connections.

This registration is for one person to attend. We manage our webinars on an honor-system basis; if more than one person from a utility wishes to attend, each is to register separately.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations are accepted, with full refund, if request is made at least 30 days prior to the course. Within 30 days, fees are as follows: 15-29 days, $100; 1-14 days or no show, 100% of registration fee. When possible, please send a substitute instead of canceling; NWPPA does not charge a fee for substitutions.
