Program Overview:
Participants will visit and build on time value of money concepts. This webinar will begin with the basic input components and built in complexity over the webinar time frame. Participants will learn about financial measurements, including return on equity, the Du Pont equation, return on assets (ROA), and the equity multiplier. Additional concepts will include benchmarking and comparative ratios; capital and long-term planning; project cash flows; payback; net present value (NPV) of cash flow; internal rate of return (IRR); the value of a debrief process; time value of money; present value; discounting capital credits; weighted average cost of capital; and cost of debt.
Program Objectives:
- Understand and practice calculating time value of money concepts
- Recognize the components and calculation of return on equity, the Du Pont equation, ROA, and the equity multiplier
- Understand the value of the project debrief process to assess positive and negative outcomes and future modifications as a result of outcomes
Program level: Intermediate
Prerequisite: Participant should have current standing as a Chief Financial Officer, be a licensed CPA, or hold a position as Senior Accountant.
Advanced preparation for this webinar is not required

Cancellations are accepted, with full refund, if request is made at least 30 days prior to the course date. Within 30 days, fees are as follows: 15-29 days, $100; 1-14 days or “no show,” 100% of registration fee.
