Course Overview:

Level up your communication and build better relationships during this interactive, three-hour workshop. Through storytelling, discussion of best practices, and hands-on experience, you'll learn new habits for in-person, virtual, and email communication that will make your interactions positive and memorable.
 
Communication and relationship-building skills are crucial for your personal growth and professional success. Organizations that prioritize the development of soft skills see greater productivity and better employee performance, and individuals with strong soft skills often enjoy more successful careers. At the end of this workshop, you'll walk away with powerful tools to create deeper connections, boost your productivity, and elevate your impact.
 
This is a pre-conference course ahead of the 2024 3 C's Conference that starts the next day.  Separate registration is required if you wish to attend both this class and the conference.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this workshop, you will:
  • Understand the fundamentals of effective communication and know how to apply them in various settings.
  • Recognize different communication styles and know how to adjust your own style to enhance interactions and productivity.
  • Know techniques to communicate clearly, allowing you to get what you need from others more effectively and quickly.
  • Be able to implement best practices for networking and engaging in conversation to build deeper connections with acquaintances.
  • Develop new habits to help you get out of your comfort zone, be more memorable, work more efficiently, and increase your happiness at work and in your personal life.

Registration will begin at 1 p.m. Pacific Time, and the class will run from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Non-Member Standard: $475

Note: Organizations that register a group of employees will receive every fifth registration for free. For example, if you register five employees, you only pay for four; register 10 employees, you only pay for eight; and so on. There is nothing additional you need to do to receive this discount.

Cancellation Policies:

For webinarsvirtual classes, and section meetings: cancellation at least five days prior to the event, full refund; within 1-4 days or no show, 100% of the registration fee.

For in-person events: cancellation at least 30 days prior to the event, full refund; within 15-29 days, $100 fee; and within 1-14 days or no show, 100% of the registration fee.

Continuing Hours:

This course qualifies for 2 continuing hours. Certificates are issued upon full completion of the course.
