Overview:
For utility ratepayers, cost and reliability are most important. This webinar focuses on how to keep rates as low as possible. You will look at how much it costs to provide reliable power, and discuss the impact of decisions—such as completing a timesheet and using materials—on the overall cost of providing service. Given the decisions you make every day, how much of an impact do you have on the cost?
Note: The Understanding the Work Order System Series is comprised of eight webinars from March through October 2025. Webinars can be taken individually or as an entire series; by registering for the full series, you will receive all eight webinars at a discounted price.
Objectives:
Understand the impact of maintenance and capital charges in determining base monthly rates.
Understand the significance of operations and engineering decisions.
Create collaboration so engineering and operations staff can save project and ratepayer costs.
Recordings:
Webinar recordings can be made available to registrants who are unable to attend live.
