Chief financial officers, general managers, all levels of accounting staff, and utility employees who work closely with the accounting department.

Overview:

Join us for this one-and-a-half-day conference to learn, network, and discuss trends and issues in accounting and finance with your public power peers from around the Northwest. Sessions will be geared for all experience levels. For the first time, you will have the opportunity to customize your learning experience by choosing from concurrent sessions on essential topics, such as:

  • Ethics in accounting
  • FASB/GASB
  • Direct pay and tax credits
  • Grant compliance
  • Comprehensive Employment and Training Act audits
  • Basic utility accounting
  • Renewables
The conference will also feature a public power panel that delves into the history and future of the industry. You'll gain a fresh perspective on economic and government regulations and discover how evolving policies impact the financial landscape.

You will have plenty of time to connect with peers during roundtable discussions and a lively evening reception, where you can build relationships that extend beyond the conference.

Schedule:

Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. Pacific Time. The conference will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. the first day and 8 a.m. to noon the second day. Breakfast will be provided both days. Lunch and a welcome reception will be provided on the first day.

Note: Organizations that register a group of employees will receive every fifth registration for free. For example, if you register five employees, you only pay for four; register 10 employees, you only pay for eight; and so on. There is nothing additional you need to do to receive this discount.

Cancellation Policy:

For webinars, virtual classes, and section meetings: cancellations at least five days prior to the event will receive a full refund; within 1-4 days or no show, the charge will be 100% of the registration fee.

For in-person events: cancellations at least 30 days prior to the event will receive a full refund; within 15-29 days there will be a $100 fee; and within 1-14 days or no show, the charge will be 100% of the registration fee.

Continuing Hours:

This conference qualifies for 9 continuing hours. Certificates are available upon full completion of the conference.
