Webinar Overview:

Every wildfire season brings new issues to the forefront while utilities are still in recovery mode from the prior season(s). NWPPA’s timely forum series tackles various issues and facilitates discussion between members, public officials, responders, and others.

Our third wildfire forum will combine two different aspects of the wildfire issue. For the first portion, Bret Staker of Beckwith Electric Co. will address system hardening. Staker will make a technical presentation on strategies for managing control settings, managing critical infrastructure to help reduce risk during wildfire exposure, and hardening system control functions.

The second part will feature Chad Nelson of General Pacific Drones focusing on the do's and don'ts of drone usage and tips for an effective in-house UAV program.

Both presenters will be ready for your questions, so please join the conversation! The forum will take place on June 30, 1:30-3 p.m. Pacific Time. Registration is open and free for all NWPPA members.
