Conference Overview:

Our 2017 Alaska Electric Utility Conference and Trade Show, with the theme of Public Power: Challenges, Solutions and Opportunities for Alaska, is coming to Anchorage the week of November 13. This event, which is only held every other year, is focused upon helping Alaskan utilities and employees deal with their current opportunities and challenges.

The Alaska Electric Utility Conference is bringing a mix of education and networking, along with 60 trade show exhibit booths, to help you get on top of the challenges, solutions and opportunities that face Alaska electric utilities today. Developed by a dedicated planning committee of utility employees from across the state of Alaska, along with NWPPA and Alaska Power Association staff, this conference could not arrive at a better time to help.

You will have opportunities to learn about the latest best practices, innovations and technologies to help you and your utility. Through education, networking with your Alaskan utility peers and visiting with regional and national product and service providers in the trade show, you will stay abreast of the latest best practices, services and technology in the industry. Further, you will stretch your budget dollars by saving time and expenses through attending a quality conference within Alaska.

Remember that this conference will not be held again until 2019, so start making plans now to attend in November.
