Dottie Metcalf-Lindenburger, Consulting Geologist, Geosyntec Consultants

As an earth science teacher at Hudson Bay High School in Vancouver Wash., Dottie Metcalf-Lindenburger saw her chance. She flew on Shuttle Mission STS-131 in April 2010 where she logged 362 hours in space; served as the flight engineer (MS2), an Intra-Vehicular Activity crewmember for three spacewalks, and shuttle robotic arm operator; and set a record with four women in space. Now she’s going to hang out with us and tell her bold story about fulfilling an audacious dream. Ready?
