Who Should Attend:
Anyone who currently uses Excel and would like to increase knowledge and efficiency applying calculations and database tools.
Course Overview:
After you learn the basics of Excel,you’ll want to take it to the next level by applying more sophisticated formulas and functions, and applying Excel's easy-to-apply database functionality. This class is loaded with simple tools and techniques that will not only save you time but will yield better and more consistent results.
This class combines instructor demonstration and hands-on practice. Laptops pre-loaded with exercises will be provided by the instructor.
Course Objectives:
During this class, you will learn how to:
- Apply mixed cell references in calculations
- Create simple and complex calculations between worksheets
- Use the Function Palette to streamline function references
- Set up an Excel database (aka an Excel List)
- Utilize Pivot Tables, Data Tables, Subtotals, and Outlines
- Parse and concatenate data
- Utilize conditional formatting

Course Schedule:
Registration will begin at 8 a.m.and the class will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Lunch, as well as morning and afternoon breaks, will be provided.
