Who Should Attend:
Accountants and finance professionals who use Excel for reporting and analysis and want to work faster, reduce errors, and replace manual processes with modern tools.
Overview:
The Excel skill set your team has developed over the last 30 years is likely inefficient, time-consuming, and opens you up to dozens of errors. Over the last few years, Microsoft has introduced several features that reshape your data pipeline completely. Power Query automates the import, cleaning, comparison, and combination of data from multiple data sources, while Power Pivot builds a sophisticated data model for analysis and visualization. After this class, your approach to workbooks will be changed forever.
Objectives:
In this course, you will learn how to:
- Import external data with Power Query.
- Combine multiple data files with joins and appends.
- Clean problem data with just a few clicks.
- Analyze multiple related data tables with interactive visualizations.
- Replace antiquated functions with modern tools.
