Overview

Every interaction is an opportunity to build commitment and capability. Your daily interactions are the heartbeat of your working relationships. Are your interactions boosting the commitment and capability of those you lead? This webinar, part of the Manager as Leader Series, will introduce proven principles and skills for interacting effectively in a variety of leadership situations and enable you to apply them.

The Manager as Leader Series is designed to help ignite, inspire, and nurture the leader mindset within you. To complete the series, you must attend four of the available six courses.

Objectives:

  • Create an environment conducive to collaborative interaction.
  • Effectively prepare for important conversations.
  • Engage in conversations that are focused, safe, and productive.
  • Strengthen your skills at exploring and informing as a leader to gain mutual understanding.
  • Establish commitments to action.
  • Effectively follow up on the commitments.

Schedule:

The webinar will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pacific Time. Attendees will be admitted 15 minutes before the webinar begins.

Fees:

Utility Member Rate: $550
Associate Member Rate: $825
Non-Member Rate: $1,100

Note: Organizations that register a group of employees will receive every fifth registration for free. For example, if you register five employees, you only pay for four; register 10 employees, you only pay for eight; and so on. There is nothing additional you need to do to receive this discount. 

Cancellation Policy:

For webinars, virtual classes, and section meetings: cancellations at least five days prior to the event will receive a full refund; within 1-4 days or no show, the charge will be 100% of the registration fee. 

For in-person events: cancellations at least 30 days prior to the event will receive a full refund; within 15-29 days there will be a $100 fee; and within 1-14 days or no show, the charge will be 100% of the registration fee. 

When possible, please send a substitute instead of canceling. NWPPA does not charge a fee for substitutions. To request a refund, please contact us at registration@nwppa.org or (360) 254-0109. 

Continuing Hours:

This webinar qualifies for 4 continuing hours. Certificates are issued upon full completion of the webinar.
