Any users of Microsoft Office products who would like to enhance their skills, learn expert tips, and receive advice to improve performance with their daily duties.

Series Overview:

The Microsoft Office 365 Series is comprised of 10 webinars offered from July through December 2024. Webinars can be taken individually or as an entire series; by registering for the full series, you will receive all 10 webinars at a discounted price. All webinars will be recorded for any registrants that are unable to attend the scheduled time.

Microsoft Planner Essentials, July 17, 2024

Are you looking for a tool that will help you with projects? Microsoft Planner can help! In this hands-on course, you will earn how to utilize Microsoft Planner to create a simple project plan consisting of tasks, assignments, start/due dates, and documents.

Excel Essentials, July 23-24, 2024

In this two-part webinar, you will learn skills required to effectively work in Excel, including entering and manipulating data; managing layout, cell formats, and tabs; and setting up a sheet for printing.

Excel Calculations and Charts, Aug. 13-14, 2024

Learn the fundamentals of using Excel to perform calculations and create charts. Following this course, you will be able to use Excel to perform calculations; utilize numbers, dates, and times in your formulas; and create dynamic charts for visual data presentation.

Excel Conditional Formatting, Nov. 13, 2024

This deep dive starts with the essentials of Excel's conditional formatting and then takes off quickly. You will learn to call out interesting data using colors, icons, or data bars.

Excel Get and Transform, Dec. 3-4, 2024

This two-part course is for Excel users who regularly spend too much time manipulating data into the right format before they even begin to analyze it. Get and Transform (aka Power Query) can perform repetitive data cleansing such as deleting rows and columns, merging data from various data sources, and fixing layout issues without macros or VBA. Data source examples used in this class include Excel, comma-separated values, and text.

Webinar Schedule:

All webinars in this series will be held from either 10 a.m.-noon or 1-3 p.m. Pacific Time. Attendees will be admitted 15 minutes before each webinar begins.

How to Participate:

Instructions will be emailed to attendees within 24 hours of the webinar, and we recommend that you test the link to the meeting as soon as you get the instructions. The webinar is best viewed using Google Chrome as your browser. We recommend that you use a landline for both your phone and your internet connections.

This registration is for one person to attend. We manage our webinars on an honor-system basis; if more than one person from a utility wishes to attend, each is to register separately.

Series Fees:

Utility Member Rate: $1,815

Associate Member Rate: $2,700

Non-Member Rate: $3,295

Note: Organizations that register a group of employees will receive every fifth registration for free. For example, if you register five employees, you only pay for four; register 10 employees, you only pay for eight; and so on. There is nothing additional you need to do to receive this discount.

Cancellation Policies:

For webinarsvirtual classes, and section meetings: cancellation at least five days prior to the event, full refund; within 1-4 days or no show, 100% of the registration fee.

Continuing Hours:

Each course qualifies for 2-4 continuing hours and completing all 10 courses in the series qualifies for a total of 34 continuing hour credits. Certificates are issued upon full completion of each course.
