Conference Overview:

The largest gathering of public power utilities in the Northwest, the Engineering & Operations Conference and Trade Show is set to take place in Tacoma, Washington, April 9-11, 2024, with a theme of Our Resilient Communities. The electric utility industry is molded daily through innovation, necessity, and both internal and external challenges. The 2024 E&O will provide the learning and networking opportunities needed to keep employees in the public power industry at the cutting edge.

Trade show. Over 200 exhibitors will showcase everything from high-voltage equipment and innovative technologies to consulting/engineering services. Booth spaces are available here. If you have any questions, please reach out to Annie at annie@nwppa.org or (360) 816-1443.

Learning. The 2024 E&O is an excellent opportunity to gather and discuss best practices, products, and tools that help you and your peers address the continuing challenges of running an electric utility. The three days of the E&O will present multiple opportunities to learn and share. The E&O will kick off on Tuesday morning with an engaging keynote address by Clara Pratte, founder of Strongbow Strategies and Navajo Power. On Tuesday afternoon, you can share ideas, challenges, and solutions at the roundtable discussions on engineering, operations, or supply chain. Not sure which to attend? Feel free to check out more than one! Throughout the event, you will also be able to choose between more than 24 breakout sessions taught by utility industry subject matter experts.

Networking. As the energy industry constantly changes, it is essential to establish relationships and build valuable connections with colleagues. At the 2024 E&O, you will be able to reconnect with colleagues and make new connections. The conference also provides the opportunity to celebrate safety and career achievements at the awards banquet on Thursday evening.
