Introduction to Mindfulness, Breathwork, and Meditation

Overview:
This foundational session will provide an introduction to mindfulness, breathwork, and meditation. You will learn the relationship between breath and physiology, and walk away with practical breathwork tools for daily life. You will also gain clarity on meditation misconceptions and leave with a structured four-week approach to establishing a sustainable mindfulness meditation practice.
Sarah J. Draper is a West Point graduate and Army veteran, and was an FBI special agent for 20 years. She knows the toll that leading in high-impact and high-consequence environments can take on your physical wellness, your emotional well-being, and your relationships. Now she is focused on sustainable performance. Draper holds an M.A. in organizational leadership from Gonzaga University, and is also a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, a Positive Psychology Practitioner, a Resilience Practitioner, and a yoga instructor. Her goal is to help people live well and lead well.
Schedule:
The webinar will be held 10-11:30 a.m. Pacific Time. Attendees will be admitted 15 minutes before the webinar begins.

Webinar recordings can be made available to registrants who are unable to attend live.

This registration is for one person to attend. We manage our webinars on an honor-system basis; if more than one person from a utility wishes to attend, each is to register separately.
Fees:
Utility Member Rate: $80
Associate Member Rate: $120
Non-Member Rate: $160
Note: Organizations that register a group of employees will receive every fifth registration for free. For example, if you register five employees, you only pay for four; register 10 employees, you only pay for eight; and so on. There is nothing additional you need to do to receive this discount.

Continuing Hours:
This course qualifies for 1.5 continuing hours. Certificates are issued upon full completion of the course.
Cancellation Policy:
For webinars, cancellation at least five days prior to the event will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 1-4 days or no-shows will forfeit 100% of the registration fee.
